Bringing The Pulpit Swap Back

In the 1970s, pulpit swaps became common in the southern cities that played a central role in the civil rights movement. Predominantly black and white congregations would exchange pastors – and often choirs – on consecutive weeks, promoting a message of healing and unity.

Today, at Renewal and Randall we swap pulpits for slightly different reasons, but unity is still a primary focus. One of our shared guiding values is the big "C" Church. Whatever God is going to do in the world, He is going to do through ALL of Christ’s people. We strive to be an Acts 1:8 movement as ONE multi-congregational church through our city, and our WNY region.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh will be at Renewal, and I will be at Randall. We will both be sharing the message "Meaningful Gospel Presence" with our shared MyCircle Message Series. I pray your hearts will be challenged by God's Word.
