Exciting Days For our friends at North Buffalo Community Church!

Do you remember our interracial discussions and fellowship earlier this year with our friends over at North Buffalo Community Church that we called " A Time To Speak"? I particularly remember the day we went to their location on Kenmore Ave, because even though it was raining cats and dogs, the smell of fried chicken permeated through the parking lot the moment we arrived.

Pastor Bill has been in poor health, following a mission trip to Atlanta earlier this summer, which has limited us from having additional fellowships together, but he is on the mend and you can be in prayer for his continued recovery.

This weekend, we can celebrate with our friends at NBCC that help is on the way! North Buffalo has also committed to being a church that plants churches, and they are welcoming Bart and Laura Eskind and their kids Asher and Abigail to join their team. Bart and Laura will spend a season serving NBCC, then venture out to plant a church on the West Side of the city.

On August 15, Bart and Laura will be leaving the only home their children have ever known, in east Tennessee to plant a church in Buffalo, NY and to minister in the New York National Guard. Bart and Laura are both bi-lingual, and will be an excellent addition to the area. This will be quite a step of faith that we thank God for their family's willingness to undertake. We ask that you would pray for their transition and for the people of Buffalo.

Also, let this be an encouragement to us. When things seem tough and odds insurmountable, God always has a plan in place as long as we continue to follow his leading and mission for his people, to make disciples of all nations.

Be Encouraged!

Milo Wilson
