Airplane Travel

Last week's vacation reminded me of something that happened to us when we first got married.

We decided to take a honeymoon to Cancun. somewhere along the way, we found that we could take the trip through a Canadian airline, which flew out of Toronto, Ontario because it would be much cheaper. We drove up from Buffalo to Toronto for the flight, where many people speak French, rather than English.

Upon boarding the flight, all of our instructions were given first in French, then repeated again in English for everyone else. This was a direct flight to Cancun, and just before landing. all of the directions were given again in English, then repeated in Spanish, because we were about to land in Mexico. Now mind you: no one had gotten on or off the plane since we left the gate in Toronto.

Does this make any sense to you?
