What the Church Can learn from the Intense Focus of the Snovember Storm.

Everyone in the WNY region is well aware of the incredible Snovember Storm of 2014. Many people in the worst hit areas have received more than 70 inches of snow, and there is still more on the way.

The main reason for the astronomical numbers associated with this storm is that the prevailing winds across the lake held absolutely steady in one intensely focused direction over a particularly sustained length of time.

What do we see as a result? Shockingly convincing, newsworthy impact on a region.

What if the Church was able to remain intensely focused in direction over a particularly sustained length of time? What would we see as a result? Shockingly convincing, newsworthy impact on a region.

But what should the church be focused on? Where would we see most impact?

Jesus said; "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37-39

Have you spent time today with an intense focus on the "Lord your God?" For those of you in areas directly affected by this storm, God has given you an incredible opportunity to "love your neighbor" with an intense focus. For those not in the region, where is God pointing you?

Intense Focus.
Shocking Impact.
