Don’t Forget To Write…

“Don’t forget to write…”

This used to be a regular part of our vernacular when we said goodbye to friends or loved ones for a significant period of time. I suppose we could say “Don’t forget to message me…” or “Don’t forget to send me some pictures of your adventures…” but nothing really communicates a person’s heartfelt note than a poorly aligned and sloppily written card. With incomplete sentences. And pour grammer.

Take the time this Christmas season to sit down and write a few people a handwritten note, and let them know that you care for them. You may not get to everyone on your Christmas list, but you may make an enormous difference to the ones you are able to make contact with. Why don’t you set aside 15 minutes on Friday afternoon and see what happens?

If you need some mailing addresses to start with… why don’t you send a note to some of our church friends who could use a note of cheer this year?
