Accessibility For All

ABC news reports today that Google and Netflix are complaining about Internet equality. It's a term called net neutrality. This means that ISP providers cannot determine what information is spread on the Internet. A government cannot decide. A wealthy business owner cannot decide.

It caught my attention, because Paul uses similar language when referring to the spreading of the Gospel. The message of Jesus Christ, could not be throttled. No government, wealthy leader, or prejudicial people group would be able to stop the spread of the Gospel. It should be accessible to all. And, through the working of the Holy Spirit, it could not be contained.

2000 years later, in a day obsessed with accessibility, in a day when people want information at their fingertips and moments notice: the Gospel is still relevant. It is still easily
transmitted from the Source, still accessible to all.

Colossians 1:28-29
28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
