Continuing the challenge...

My attempt at the $5 challenge was a little bit sloppy. I decided to leave a $5 tip at Subway. (Where obviously most people wouldn't) I did, and they were appreciative, and I think it was a success.

That same evening however, my family and I went to downtown Greenville for a Greenville Drive baseball game. I parked in a parking garage I thought was marked "free nights and weekends" This was a Friday night, at about 6:45, so I felt good about the parking job. When we came back, I suddenly realized that the parking attendant had decided to rip off hundreds of cars, and that the sign actually says "free weekends," although it used to say "nights" as well. It was only a $2.00 charge, but if you have been around me for very long you know I do not carry any cash whatsoever. They did not accept Visa Cards, so I had no way to pay at all. Turns out, the parking attendant reaches into her pocket and pays my $2.00 fee. So I guess I'm only $3.00 in to the $5.00 challenge...
